AEGON Summer County Tennis Cup (July 2010) - Men's Group 2

For the second year running Hannah was part of the physiotherapy team providing services to the competitors of the Men's Group 2 County Cup.  Counties from all over the country - including East of Scotland, travelled to Cromer to compete in the Summer Cup.  The honour of promotion was fiercely contended from Day 1 meaning the demand to keep the players fit was just as fierce.

"It's an extremely intense week for the players with a high volume of tennis being played, at very high standards.  Injuries are expected and quick recovery is essential.  We saw a variety of injuries ranging from shoulder and neck problems, low back pain and knee problems.  Thankfully, all aches and pains responded well to treatment and competitors were able to give their all throughout the competition."

Wollastons Business Fun Run, Chelmsford  - June 2010

We have provided a  physiotherapy service for all runners partcipating in the Wollastons Business Fun Run for the past 7 years. This year there were nealy 1800 runners that raised a total of £35000 for the local charity

Cancer Research 'Run for Life' - 3 October 2010, Hylands park, Chelmsford

 

In October 2009 we provided an physio marquee by the finish line for the treatment of soft tisse and other running injuries sustained during this pictureque 10km run around Hyalnds Park. We were kept very busy indeed and we shall be there again at the finish line to greet all runners and to offer a courtesy physio service to the runners. So come and see us by the finish line. Good luck in raising lots of sponsorship money for this excellent cause.
