I ran the Greater Manchester Marathon, with no pain from the issues I visited you with initially. Painful outer left knee – buttock pain and lower hamstring pulling pain. My time of 4:09 was not what I was hoping for, unfortunately I found myself out on my feet from around 18 miles – so the remainder was a combination of walking and running. (The conditions were warmer and sunnier than expected).
I really appreciate your clear diagnosis and the exercises you provided me with to get over what I thought may be something that stopped me getting to the starting line – so, many thanks for that! The confidence that provided me with was invaluable and made a huge difference to the way I approached and subsequently ran the marathon, mentally and physically. Best Wishes
